Community Partners Grant Program

The Community Partners Grant Program is established to allow town leadership to consider and evaluate funding for nonprofit organizations that serve Woodfin residents in areas currently not supported by the town.  Examples of eligible programs are:

Education

  • Literacy & language
  • Early childhood education
  • After-school
  • K-12 education

Neighborhood & Community Development

  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Safety
  • Parks & playgrounds

Human Services

  • Food security
  • Housing security
  • Emergency heating/utility assistance
  • Programs for the elderly

Community Partner Grant funding will be part of the annual budget review cycle with an application deadline in March, with the next funding cycle to begin March 2023 for Fiscal Year 2024.  Please refer back to this page for information regarding next year’s funding information and schedule.     

For Fiscal Year 2023, the Town of Woodfin is inviting local non-profits and other agencies to apply for a limited, out of cycle, grant opportunity.  Approximately $50,000 is available in this out of cycle funding round.  Money may be awarded as a single grant or may be split into multiple grants.  Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022.

Note: A second round of funding has been re-opened to applicants providing emergency services/aid to residents.  This second round will remain open until November 14, 2022.
