First, make sure to receive. medical care.  Then, call the Woodfin Police Department at 828-253-4887 to report the bite.  

First and foremost, leave it alone.  If you feel the bear is a threat to you, your family or pets, call the NC Wildlife Interaction Hotline at 866-318-2401.  Otherwise, be Bear Smart.  Do not leave trash, bird feeders, pet food, or other sources of food outside that will attract bears to your property.
