    The Woodfin Police Department is currently seeking applicants for the following position:



    Qualified applicants will possess, at a minimum, all of the following:

    • Valid NC driver’s license.
    • Successful completion of a Basic Law Enforcement Training course in NC.
    • Ability to pass an extensive background investigation and interview process.
    • Minimum of a High School diploma or successful completion of General Education Development (GED) program.

    The starting salary for this position is $34,080 with a municipal benefits package including: health and dental insurance, accrued sick time, accrued vacation time, paid holidays, uniforms and duty equipment provided.

    Experienced, lateral transfers are preferred candidates but inexperienced candidates will be considered for the position.
